彭放，1943年生，云南省鹤庆县人。结业于昆明师范学院艺术系国画专业。云南省文史研究馆馆员，云南书画院研究员，中国美术家协会云南分会会员。曾任云南民族出版社副编审。长期从事国画、连环画创作，有大量作品出版展出或获奖。出版有《彭放花鸟画专辑》。 Peng Fang Peng Fang，born in Heqing, Yunnan province in 1943, majored in traditional Chinese painting and completed his course of study in the Art Department of Kunming Normal College. He is an expert of the Yunnan Institute for Traditional Sinology, a researcher of Yunnan Calligraphy and Painting Academy, member of Yunnan Branch of Chinese Artists Association. He used to be associate editor of Yunnan Nationality Publishing House. He has long engaged in creation of traditional Chinese painting and comic strips, lots of his works were published and exhibited. He won many awards. Album of Peng Fang's Flower-Bird Painting is published.
